If you are like me you like to collect resin molds, and there are so many to choose from. I love exploring to see what new resin molds have come out and their different uses. I wanted to share some fun silicone molds that I have found recently! Since it can be hard to decide what molds to get when you first decide to create with expoxy resin.
Resin molds are not one size fits all. Some are harder to demold than others, some are small and use a smaller amount of resin, and some have specific uses. So whether you make and sell resin art pieces, you are wanting to find a new hobby, or you are DIY'ing a gift, these molds are a great start. If you like silicone molds and one catches your eye, you can purchase by clicking the picture and it will take you to the item in amazon! Alright its resin mold time!!
Cutting Board Mold
Cutting board molds are so popular and easy to demold. They do use a decent amount of resin, so depending on your resin brand these can be pricier to make.
They are 13"L x 8"W x 0.4"Th, and this one is made by LetsResin, one of the best resin brands I have found. It is easy mold to use because it is flat and thin. It also has a practical use, you can use it as a cutting board if you want to. I personally think it looks amazing when displayed as home decor. Especially when they are designed with the ocean theme.
Bookmark Mold
You know I love a good bookmark, and this mold is another staple in the resin art community. They are so easy to make and do not require a lot of resin. You can kick these out no problem. I like to add alcohol inks and use vinyl for added color and details, and add a tassel at the end.

This mold is fun because it can be used to make a piece on its own, or added to a larger resin piece like a tray or painting. They are easy to make using alcohol inks and pigments. They are a little difficult to demold due to the different crystal shapes. You have to be careful not to pull to hard or you could rip the mold. This piece is

The mold is linked to a brand on amazon called SMEKHOXO, I have never shopped with them, but they had this listing. You can find lots of molds like this out there and the blank cork stoppers at the bottem. So when you run out in the kit then you can restock!
